College Transfer Question

According to this post, 24 of the 44 recruits BC brought in from the 2007 and 2008 seasons have left the program since our new head coach was hired.  The blogger uses that as a defense for the poor performance of the team under the new coaching staff, but considering that several of these guys have gone on to other top flight programs; e.g. Isaac Johnson to Pitt; Chris Hayden-Martin to Pitt; Josh Haden to Florida; Dominque Davis starting QB at ECU;  Kenny Plue to Purdue; Sterlin Pfiffer back up RB just left; Justin Tuggle to Kansas State; its hard for me to believe that this is strictly a talent issue.

Is this at all typical?  Do PSU and ND generally lose half their recruits?

Nope. PSU loses a few here and there to Michigan, Ohio State, and other big fish; but they also steal their share too. I think it’s clear that BC is in the dumps.
