Twitter

5 years late to the party, but I suggest you guys sign up.  Its actually really fascinating.   There’s a lot of idle chatter, but that’s very easy to sift through.  What makes it useful is that you can get real time access to what interesting people are reading at any given time.  I basically follow various authors and policy wonks that interest me, and you can then go to a single source to get links to what they’ve written or what they are reading.  Really interesting way to expand your knowledge.  I think the key is to follow people that you don’t agree with as well so that you can get a summary of thought from opposing viewpoints.

Fair warning, I tried following Sarah Palin, but ended up breaking three computers in anger.  Wade slowly into the depths of right wing crazy.

Yeah I’ve been following some news outlets on Twitter but I’d like to expand my horizons. And you’re absolutely right about following people you disagree with. Haven’t gone down that path yet, and I should.

Who do you follow? List please.
